Murphy & Company adds lawyer Kurt Dahl

Murphy & Company is pleased to announce that Kurt Dahl (J.D., LL.M, B. Comm.) has joined the firm.

Kurt has been practising entertainment and business law for the past 5 years across Western Canada.

He is a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan (2010) and the Law Society of British Columbia (2010).

Kurt received his Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2005 and completed his Master of Laws degree at the Univerity of Ottawa in 2009. His LL.M thesis, subsequently published, was on the future of the music industry and how artists will continue to earn a living in the digital world.

As a musician, Kurt is actively involved with his band One Bad Son, who have toured the country extensively and worked with some of the biggest names in the Canadian music industry.  Kurt also served on the Board of Directors for SaskMusic for 5 years.
